Gadu is performing at Patrick's Cabaret as a part of "Chance of Snow or Wildfires" Cabaret. This is Gadu's first solo performance since his return from India in December 2012.

How are you doing ?
Lots of dances happening around the world.
Each day rhizoming is getting more and more
meaningful. Spreading from beyond.
Impossible to stop. Alive.
There has been a lot happening in Madrid, but
between practice, performing and daily
business of living in a capital I had few time to
write...
I've been with your friend Hisako in May, and
with Zambrano in April... both curious to visit
subbody one day.
From flying low to slow motion, opening a wide
range of physical possibilities. And on every
point of that line that goes from apparent
stillness for hours to postmodern samurai style
moves, every point of that line crosses a
potential universe. So many worlds constantly
welcoming our attention and offering renewed
creativity. Somehow everything gets so simple
when we're inmersed in infinite complexity.
On saturday I'll perform my last creation, a
duo, called Sosiego, meaning more or less
Serenity. The info is attached.
I'll also give last workshop on saturday and
sunday.
Sosiego is an attempt to approach the crisis
that inhabit our body with a peaceful mind as
free as possible from human judgement. My
first piece without naked body, lots of stuff on
the scene, light changes, music, lots of images
for people to dream their own creation.
Something like a clear unexplicable dream.

In july I'll give two weeks workshop - Dialogue
with gravity. I'm happy to share with bodies
more than two days - although I really enjoy
two-days workshops. I feel ready for other
experiments that need longer period of time.

my first residency at angelikis dance studio
was a good experience, as we all could learn
from each other…. and becoming more aware
for the needs of an artistic life…
the space of that old industrial museum help
me a lot… it was becoming almost a cobody…
feeling the history of this place and be moved
by it… also the collaboration with erik a
belgium saxplayer was great… some pics are

In the light of intimate meeting, this research was curious about what kind of resonance we could find if one dancer was to meet one on one with one person of the audience. Questioning the depth of this possible meeting, what could come out of this intimacy, how deep could the dance go, how honesty comes when meeting in this closeness. Who is the performer if there is only two people meeting. What are the limits of each person in this meeting? Those are few questions we had in mind, that where for us a motor and a frightening challenge. During the performance, beautiful meetings, moments of intimate resonance. Thank you to the generous dancers and audience for this great red light night.

Two weeks full of workshops, such as
Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Classical Ballet, Repertoire,
